Trade mission Warsaw

Poland is being the only country that seems immune to the economic meltdown on our continent. As the Eurozone’s economies declined by 4,3% in 2009, Poland grew by 1,6%. Growth peaked to more than 4% last year. Even next year the prognosis is 3,5%. And with only two borders to cross, it is no wonder that Dutch companies are increasingly discovering the vast opportunities this 40 million people market provides. At present more than 1.500 Dutch enterprises, large and small, are active in Poland – taking the Netherlands to the top 10 of investors in Poland.
I joined a successful trade mission 22-24 May 2012 together with Melanie Schultz van HaegenMinister for Infrastructure and the Environment. Together with business relatives of Tebodin Poland and Imtech Poland I visited a meet and greet reception with the minister.
